Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) apply to the services provided by Shelby Nelson - Self Care By Shelby, a certified Massage Therapist and Nutrition Coach (“Practitioner”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), to clients (“you” or “Client”).
1. Services Provided
We offer therapeutic massage and nutrition coaching services designed to support general wellness and health goals. These services are not a substitute for medical treatment or diagnosis by a licensed healthcare provider.
2. Client Responsibility

You must provide accurate and complete health history prior to your session(s).

You agree to update us about any changes to your health or medications that may affect services.

You are responsible for consulting with your physician before making any dietary or physical changes.
3. Health and Safety

Massage therapy will not be performed if you present with fever, contagious skin conditions, or other contraindications.

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a session if your health status poses a risk or if boundaries are violated.
4. Confidentiality
All client information is kept confidential and will only be shared with your written consent or as required by law.
5. Payment Terms

Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.

Packages and promotions are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated.
6. Cancellations and No-Shows

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

Late cancellations may incur a fee of 50% of the anticipated service.

No-shows will be charged the full session rate.
7. Liability Waiver

You understand that massage and nutrition services carry certain inherent risks and you voluntarily assume full responsibility for any effects.

The Practitioner is not liable for any injuries or adverse reactions that may occur as a result of services provided.
8. Code of Conduct

Professional and respectful behavior is expected at all times.

Any inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the session without refund and possible refusal of future service.
9. Modifications
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes.
10. Consent
By booking or receiving services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
